Synopsis
The document consists of the recordings collected between the years 1982-1987 by the informal anti-regime group to which belonged Jacek Petrycki, Bohdan Kosinski and Marcel Łoziński. The film gives the real story of the anticommunist underground, shows the everyday life of the oppositionists in hiding and the Polish realities of the 1980s. Recordings from VHS tapes, film cameras, amateur cameras, sounds registered using any possible methods - put together they become a portrayal of the ‘Other Poland’, living her life in opposition to the official state during the time of marital law. The film reminds also such outstanding people as Jacek Kuroń, Marek Edelman, Stefan Kisielewski or Maciej Zembaty.

Jacek PETRYCKIHe was born in 1948 in Poznań. Cinematographer and producer of feature and documentary films, including the plays of the Theatre of Television. Graduate from Cinematography Department at National Film School in Łódź, he cooperated, among others, with Marcel Łoziński (Microphone Test), Krzysztof Kieślowski (Camera Buff) and Agnieszka Holland (A Lonely Woman). Since 1987 he has collaborated with Channel 4 and the BBC. He also directs documentaries City without God (2008) and City without God (2012).
