1. Claude LANZMANN Napalm
The event will have a time to present the recent film Napalm that a passed great master Claude Lanzmann had made during his visit to North Korea and to commemorate his life and films with critic Kwak Yungbin after the screening. Claude Lanzmann, not only a filmmaker but also a name for European intellectuals, had brought about significant changes to European historical studies and history of philosophy through the film Shoah, which he produced over a decade.

2. Ruth BECKERMANN The Waldheim Waltz
Ruth Beckermann is a world-renowned Austrian female filmmaker whose retrospective was held all over the world and new film The Waldheim Waltz won the documentary section at the Berlin International Film Festival, although she may be a strange name in Korea. The event will give a chance to learn about her unique film world through the screening of the film, composed solely of archival films, and a special talk with her.

3. Documentary Screened, Documentary Exhibited
In accordance with the current trend that the documentary is ‘exhibited’ as a piece of work in the museum, DMZ docs will project again onto the screen the documentary that has transferred to the museum, through the comparative screening of two works by director PAIK Jongkwan Cyclical Night designed in single-channel projection and Anticipation of the Night in two-channel projection which is frequently used in the museum, and it will give audiences the opportunity to listen to the meaning of the work on the multi-screen and the difference between the screening at the museum and the theater.
