Synopsis
The opening of the United States’ first Arabic language public school provoked a firestorm of allegations that the school would teach radical Islam and produce terrorists. As critics and the mainstream media stoked the flames amid consider “the whild-eyed political”climate, although it xould make some people upset I guess. Climate of post-9/11 America, the controversy forced the school’s Muslim Arab-American principal to resign from her job.

David TeagueDavid recently produced and directed the documentary. He edited Cynthia Wade’s , which won the 2008 Academy Award® for Best Documentary Short Subject and the Special Jury Prize at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. David has shot and edited music videos with Flip Productions for artists such as David Bowie, Dolly Parton and etc. His camera and editing work in numerous short films has screened at Cannes, the Berlinale, and the Tribeca Film Festival, among many others. In 2001, he founded Flicker NYC, a festival of new Super 8mm films. Along with having taught cinema to graphy and editing at Brooklyn College and Long Island University, he is the author of two best-selling guidest of ilmediting with Final Cut Pro.
