Synopsis

In the late summer of 1979, a mysterious young man started stealing cars and using them for nocturnal joyrides around Belgrade. Authorities noted his predilection for white Porsches in particular. By openly defying the police and outfoxing them in wild car chases, he grew into a popular hero. This film describes him as a rebel without a cause, a Yugoslavian James Dean.

  Born in Serbia, Jovan Todorović studied Camera and Directing at Columbia College Chicago, USA. He then graduated at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. He has been awarded several prizes for his shortand documentary films. He directed numerous commercials for a wide range of clients and the largest agencies in the region.
