Synopsis

The film is due a debt of thanks because it finally recorded what East German Television had been concealing for weeks. In the fall of 1989, as the events in the streets began to snowball, directors Andreas Voigt and Gerd Kroske, along with cameraman Sebastian Richter, not only wanted to document at last the protest on the streets, but also to give voice to the protesters whom the state sought to silence.
