Synopsis

In April 2008, Sophie, a Korean child adopted by French parents at age 6, finds some of her biological family members. After developing a correspondence with her father in Korea, she dreams of meeting him. In Korea, Sophie`s father and grand mother also wish to meet her. Sophie begins her first journey to find her identity in July, 2009 with her fiancée, Benoit. What will happen to her during her journey? How will she feel straddling two different culture sand languages? And how will she be changed after all of that?

Director

  • CHOI Yun-Jung
    Born in 1979. She has been producing various broadcasting programs for the past 7 years for a production company. She went to France in 2007 and graduated from master’s course in documentary directing at Strasbourg University. She co-directed . Currently she works as a freelance camerawoman and as a producer for a broadcasting company in Paris.
