Synopsis

More than twenty years ago, Japan, USA, Australia and other countries began exporting electronic waste to a small Chinese town called Fengjiang. Around 50,000 migrant workers from poverty-stricken parts of mid-west China for mane-waste d ismantling army. They use primitive methods to dismantle and recycle nearly 2million tons of e-waste each year. The film tells the story of workers Zhang and Qiu-xiaand their family, while sharing their moans and sighs. They work hard to purchase their dreams, butlife in Fengjiang is accompanied by disease and death.
