Synopsis

In August 2007, North Korean '4.25 Football Team' came to Kunming in China for training for the first time. Since then, South Korean Documentary director Seo Min-won has received a list of football players who have a training in Kunming once a year. Each time he looks with eager anticipation for a name in the list. It's Lee Sung-jin. Since the director met Sung-jin at 8-year-olds in 2008, he has done an in-depth reporting of Sung-jin sparkling in front of the camera and other young football players. He met them lastly in January 2015, and now he wants to go to Pyongyang and to meet them again. Could he go there and meet them, in the politic situation between South and North Korea recently getting worse?

  He has made documentary since 1996, and he had visited The North Korea over thirty times to make the documentary for the MBC program 'Unification Observatory'. The Red Painter devoted to North Korean defector artists broadcasted on NHK. He is currently making 4.25 My NK Football Team, and he is a member of the Korean Independent PD Association.
