Synopsis

After the femicide in Gang-nam station on 17th of May, 2016, a new feminism generation, so called ‘Young Young Femi’, made its appearance to fight against misogyny. Among them, there is a feminist activism group ‘Flame, Femi, Action’ whose main issue is the female body and sexuality by focusing on the pro-choice movement, knowledge of sexuality, etc. As one action of its movement, five feminists decide to let their hair under the arm grow and shave their heads with the question: What makes women loose their power on even a hair, the most tiny element of the body? Now they do the action and what prejudice they will confront in their routine?

    Yun Ga-Hyun used to work as an activist in The Part-Time Workers’ Union and made a documentary about it. <The Part-Time Workers’ Union>(2016) is her first feature film.
