Synopsis

My father was born in Kinmen, in 1958 when 823 artillery, which the Chinese Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China occurred across the war. He often told the tourists in the memory of the war. I was born in 1987, the time when ROC Government declared martial law in Taiwan. I had no interest of the war as a young one who grown up in the democratic generation, until 2017 I traveled to Jeju Island, and began to re-know my father and Kinmen Island.

  Born in Taiwan, now a student of Tainan National University of the Art, learning to produce a documentary. During the study period, I begin to get in touch with the social movements. Following anti-forced moving people and joining a lot of fight scenes, then I understand the importance of the record. I think that by recording makes the community forgive and continue to live.
